Associate Director, Clinical Operations
Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid)
Reports to: Director, Clinical Operations
Team: 3-5 (mix of new and existing members)
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Associate Director of Clinical Operations to help lead our global clinical programs. You’ll oversee outsourced Phase II-III interventional trials (with Phase I, IV, and ISR experience a plus) across multiple therapeutic areas, ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and oversee global clinical trials, primarily Phases II-III.
 - Manage CRO partnerships with strong oversight and accountability for quality and timelines.
 - Provide leadership and mentorship to a growing Clinical Ops team (3-5).
 - Contribute to operational strategy and process improvement within a small, agile team.
 - Represent Clinical Operations in internal and external meetings, including FDA/EMA interactions.
 - Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful study execution.
 
What You Bring
- 8-12 years’ experience in Clinical Operations with both hands-on trial management and oversight leadership.
 - Strong background in global Phase II-III interventional studies; early- or late-phase and ISR experience desirable.
 - Proven CRO oversight and vendor management experience.
 - Previous line management and strategic input exposure.
 - Therapeutic area experience (desirable): Immunology, Pulmonology, Urgent/Intensive Care, Infectious Diseases.
 - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a “roll up your sleeves” mindset.
