Join a global biopharma leader driving innovation in early clinical development and translational medicine. We are seeking an experienced Project Lead Statistician to shape the statistical strategy for Phase 1 and Phase 2a studies, influencing decision-making from first-in-human trials through proof-of-concept.

The Opportunity:
In this high-impact leadership role, you will:

• Lead statistical strategy for one or more early development projects/indications

• Provide scientific and statistical leadership across clinical plans, study designs, analyses, and regulatory interactions

• Mentor junior statisticians, fostering collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence

• Partner closely with cross-functional teams (ClinOps, Translational Medicine, Regulatory) and represent statistics in regulatory meetings

• Contribute to statistical standards, process improvements, and adoption of innovative methodologies (e.g., Bayesian designs, Quantitative Decision-Making)

What You Bring:

• PhD or MSc in Statistics/Biostatistics (or related discipline) with 6+ years’ pharmaceutical industry experience (pharma experience strongly preferred over CRO-only background)

• Proven leadership in early clinical development, ideally in Phase 1–2a trials

• Experience with regulatory interactions, submissions, and external scientific representation

• Advanced statistical expertise, with exposure to innovative trial designs

• Exceptional communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills
