A global pharmaceutical company is looking to hire an experienced Quality Assurance Manager. Working from their site in Zug, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the highest quality standards. This role is open to EU/EFTA citizens or those who hold a valid Swiss Work Permit.
Role Responsibilities:
- Monitoring compliance for the Swiss branch to ensure adherence to cGMP/cGDP requirements, regulatory requirements, industry standards, global guidelines and local processes.
- Assisting in the preparation of batch documentation, evaluation and release of product batches for the Swiss and Liechtenstein markets in compliance with Swiss regulations.
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities in your area of responsibility and initiating corrective measures to increase overall quality.
- Supporting quality-related improvement projects.
- Supporting role in processing product returns, CQNs, PMSI, deviations, CAPA, change control, supplier qualification and PQR management.
- Supporting role in regulatory inspections.
- Conducting training on quality procedures, regulatory requirements and best practices in accordance with the responsibility matrix to ensure an informed and compliant team.
Candidate Specification:
- University degree in pharmacy or natural sciences (PhD an advantage)
- At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical Quality Assurance
- Very good knowledge of regulatory requirements (TPA, MPLO, GMP, GDP)
- Experience in dealing with authorities and audits
- Analytical thinking, decision-making skills and accuracy
- Business fluent English and German (French is an advantage)
- Certification as an internal auditor is a plus
