Warman O’Brien are proud to partner with a leading global CRO seeking a Senior Director of Medical Strategy to drive clinical and scientific strategy across a growing Psychiatry portfolio. This is a senior, outward-facing role focused on shaping development strategy, supporting sponsors, and influencing innovation across CNS programs.

This opportunity suits a Board-Certified Psychiatrist with strong clinical trial expertise and the credibility to engage at sponsor and executive level. Experience in neurology clinical trials is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead clinical and scientific strategy for Psychiatry programs
• Advise on protocol design, feasibility, and regulatory strategy
• Support business development, early client engagement, and bid defence
• Act as a senior medical voice in cross-functional and external forums

Requirements

• Board certification in Psychiatry (essential)
• Experience in clinical research / drug development
• Neurology clinical trial experience strongly preferred
• Confident, strategic communicator with senior stakeholder exposure
• Experience supporting business development activities
