Senior Statistical Project Leader (Director) in Biostatistics - Germany
We have partnered with this leading, global pharma, who are looking for a Senior Statistical Project Leader (Director) in Biostatistics for Immunology studies. This position offers a strategic and leadership-focused opportunity to influence clinical studies and contribute to the advancement of drug development in a global healthcare company.
Main Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Provide expert statistical contributions for clinical development plans, studies, and submissions.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Biostatistics employees and contractors, managing resources, timelines, and activities to align with company standards.
- Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, other project leaders, and senior leadership.
- Regulatory Representation: Represent Biostatistics in key regulatory meetings and scientific working groups.
- Innovation and Quality: Mentor junior team members, drive innovation, and nurture a culture of operational excellence and quality.
- Experience: A PhD/MS in statistics or related field with at least 8 years in pharmaceutical clinical development (including experience with Biotech, Pharma, CROs, health authorities, and academic centers).
- Skills: Strong understanding of clinical development and advanced statistical techniques.
- Leadership: Proven leadership abilities and excellent communication, project management, and collaboration skills.
- Regulatory Expertise: Experience with regulatory submissions and interactions with external stakeholders.
